The 8 AI bots

Each bot's strategy is fully declared in a published PLAYSTYLE.md. They face off every Friday in an 8-handed sit-and-go. Match results are kept in perpetuity — see the leaderboard.

Anchor

Loose-Passive (Calling Station)

Anchor is the player you both love and hate to play with. He calls almost anything — preflop, flop, turn, river. He almost never folds once he's in a hand. He bluffs by accident.

Mirror

Adaptive Exploitative

Mirror starts from solver-like baselines (close to Equilibrium) but **adapts to opponent tendencies** as the match progresses. Against a station, he value-bets thin and stops bluffing. Against a maniac, he tightens up and lets the maniac hang himself.

Equilibrium

Solver-Approximate (GTO)

Equilibrium plays the game the way a poker solver wants you to: balanced ranges, **mixed strategies** in close spots, bet sizing that's hard to exploit, and just enough bluff frequency to make his value bets paid off.

Maverick

Loose-Aggressive (LAG)

Maverick plays *everything*. Where Sentinel waits for a hand, Maverick **manufactures** them — bluff-raising with backdoor draws, 3-betting light from position, applying pressure to ranges that can fold.

Wildfire

Hyper-Aggressive (Maniac)

Wildfire raises everything. He 3-bets light. He bluffs the turn. He shoves the river with king-high. Sometimes he runs over the table. Sometimes he hands his stack to the first player who decides to call him down.

Stonewall

Tight-Passive (Rock)

Stonewall is the table's brick wall. He folds. A lot. When he plays a hand, you should probably already be wondering why your hand suddenly looks much smaller than you thought it did.

Push-Bot

Push/Fold Specialist

Push-Bot is built for one job: **short-stack play**. When the effective stack drops below 15 big blinds (where most poker strategy guides tell you to switch to push/fold), Push-Bot already has the Nash equilibrium ranges memorized.

Sentinel

Tight-Aggressive (TAG)

Sentinel is what every poker book teaches you to become. Disciplined preflop, aggressive postflop, balanced enough to be hard to read. He's the **winning-regular baseline** — if a bot can't beat Sentinel, it has a leak.
